Laguna Wilderness

We’re outdoor adventurers with a passion for photography. Being avid hikers, we rove far and wide, cameras in hand, collecting images of nature’s wonders as best we can. We'd like to share some of these photos with you and others who enjoy nature.

Our images won’t show ordinary scenery or tourist stuff, but instead, will display the more unusual, difficult to capture, or rarely seen flora and fauna. Hopefully, nothing will be boring. We shoot wildflowers, intriguing reptiles, shy, highly camouflaged creatures, and appealing landscape perspectives.

Photos shown here cover Southern California from just north of Malibu, east to the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts, west to the Pacific Ocean, and south to the San Diego County line. It’s a huge area with varied geography and climate. The Southern California landscape with its striking contrast of dramatic geology set behind delicate wildflowers, vibrant cactus blooms, gnarly trees, and the unique denizens of the area greatly appeal to us. So, it’s a fabulous place to “trek and shoot!”

Since this is not a “corporate” site, we did not set it up with the usual business links. There are no FAQS, Contact Us, or Shopping Cart icons. We simply want to share some delightful visuals that we have encountered along our routes.

But, by all means, we would love to hear from you. Please share your thoughts and hiking experiences with us at rovingimage@roadrunner.com.
